About Verbs
In almost all the units that we do, we had to learn about verbs. There are many types of verbs. I mentioned to you about action verbs, thinking/knowing verbs as well as verbs of senses.
Here's an interesting song about verbs. Hope it will help you to remember better what verbs are.
Do some practices on the usage of verbs.

Twistered Fairy Tales
Hi all,
Recently we've all heard of the wolf's side of the story from the book 'Wolf's Story'. In it, the wolf explained how innocent he was and that he did not destroy the houses of the three pigs. This is an example of a 'Twistered Fairy Tale'.
A 'Twistered Fairy Tale' is a story that was adapted from an existing fairy tale and then changed the plot of the story to make it a little different.
Below are videos of fractured fairy tales. Happy viewing!
A Fractured Tale of 'Goldilocks and The Three Bears'
A Fractured Tale of 'The Frog Prince'
Now, would you like to try your hand at creating one?
Click here and you can create one online! Just remember to print a copy after you have finished.
You may also write and illustrate one and submit to me when done!

Chinese New Year Celebration
It was our first Chinese New Year together. It was celebrated with much fun, excitement and laughter. To all the Chinese pupils, I wish you a Happy Lunar New Year! As for the Muslim pupils, have a great holiday!
"Ouch! Don't push me, please!" said the poor lion.
Our First Reader's Theatre
This was the first time we had reader's theatre. It was based on the story 'The Sunflower That Went FLOP'. All of you appeared rather nervous at first. Some of you even attempted to cover your face with your scripts! However, there were a few groups who did rather well. They were loud and clear. They read with not only expressions on their faces but with actions as well! Well done! Overall, it was fun and I hope you all enjoyed it!
